Family and Individual Counselling
Hi I'm Justin Morris
I am a Registered Social Worker and I offer counselling and workshops for individuals and families with a focus on neurodiversity (ADHD/ASD). I have made my home in Kitchener for the past 10 years with my family of 3. You can also see my Psychology Today profile here.
What I offer
I have been supporting individuals, youth and families for over 10 years now. As a therapist I use a client-centred approach, which means we decide goals, how to prioritize them and how we approach them.
In individual therapy I focus on managing overwhelming emotions, trauma, and attachment. I also understand ADHD and can help with impulsivity, productivity, emotional dysregulation, setting up ADHD friendly environments, and navigating social stigmas. When supporting people on the Autism spectrum I can help with understanding your own or other's emotions and
In family counselling I am able to help with challenges between couples, parents and children. Relationships can become particularly strained and difficult when one or more loved ones in the family are neurodiverse (ADHD/ASD/etc). Couples can struggle to understand each other, parents with caregiver burnout and guilt and children are misunderstood.
I offer 20 minute free consultation where you can ask questions about me or therapy in general and share what you are (and aren't!) looking for.
You can book a consultation or session with me by using this button (it will open a new window) or send me an message below.
